Yeah, yeah, I know, I'm not known by enough people or dead enough to have a song called Adagio, but in my defense, the term really just means 'slow tempo'. While using different techniques to inspire writing, I was playing some of my favorite scenes to movies (with the sound off) and scoring them. The entire string part was written to the scene in 'Stand by Me' when the little boy is in his late brother's room reminiscing about a time his brother had comforted him.
