OCTOBER 19TH, 2009 (CUMMING, GEORGIA)

CUMMING RESIDENT LOSES 140 POUNDS IN ORDER TO PURSUE DREAM! Local area indie artist is hosting a CD release party on Saturday, November 14th, 2009 at Starbucks, 435 Peachtree Parkway, Cumming, GA 30041 off Highway 400 at exit 13, across from The Avenue.

Former heavyweight artist Michael C. Bell launched his debut instrumental CD “In the Stillness” in 2006 to both healthy sales and tremendous fan support. The CD was featured by Orange County, California’s, Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure 2007 fundraiser. But, due to his weight, Michael was not able to combine performing with the release of his CD. “I knew I was hurting my ability to make that important connection with my audience,” says Michael. “But I just wasn’t comfortable putting myself out there in front of people.”

Composing for piano, Michael’s music has been compared to that of Jim Brickman and Enya. For orchestra, to the movie soundtracks of James Horner. Michael has been overwhelmed by the feedback he’s received from fans across the U. S.

Bruce from Tennessee writes, “I never write anyone about causes, or platforms, or political views etc......but felt compelled to tell you how much listening to your creations touch me. In society today we don't spend enough time lifting each other up much.....so here's to you sir. You have been blessed with a special talent. Cheers.”

C. McTiernan writes, “Michael C. Bell is an incredible hidden talent. He has the innate ability to sooth the restless mind in this chaotic world. He is a rare instrumentalist who reaches deep within.”

Tammy from Wisconsin writes, “Outstanding work. A breath of fresh air. Most cannot
describe the taste of chocolate ~ I believe you can!”

Now professionally engineered and mastered, “In the Stillness” is being re-released as “Ballerina.” But don’t take someone else’s word about this very soothing, refreshing, ineffable kind of music. Come experience it for yourself on Saturday, November 14th, 2009 at Starbucks, 435 Peachtree Parkway, Cumming, GA 30041 off Highway 400 at exit 13, across from The Avenue.
